Soy Vinegar Dipping Sauce

This is the dipping sauce I grew up eating with potstickers. It is vinegary, salty, and has a nice warmth from the ginger. Poke a hole in your potsticker and pour in a little sauce OR if you have your own portion just go ahead and dunk it. Make sure to get some of the ginger and scallion bits!

Soy Vinegar Dipping Sauce

Ingredients (makes 1/2 cup)

3 Tablespoons fresh ginger, grated

2 stalks scallions, finely sliced

1/3 cup soy sauce

3 Tablespoons vinegar

2 Tablespoons sugar

Directions

In a small bowl, add and mix together all of the ingredients. Give it a good stir to dissolve the sugar. Stir once more before serving.
